O'Neill's Grill Restaurant and Bar proudly serves fresh, never frozen, meals with local ingredients. Most people in town know us for our famous Cookie Skillet, but we serve up a lot more than dessert.

These past two years have been challenging for us with lower sales, food supply shortages and more, but we are still just as passionate about making the O’Neill’s experience even better for our staff and guests. Here’s how we are planning to upgrade our restaurant to enhance the experience of dining at O’Neill’s:

  • This holiday season, we gave staff retention bonuses totally $26,000.

  • We will install new HVAC units.

  • We will have new carpet installed soon.

  • We will update the restrooms.

  • And more coming in 2022!

Dear Guests,


We would like to give as much notice as possible in letting all our loyal guests, friends, regulars, community, and business partners know we will be closed every Monday starting August 9, 2021, until further notice (and hopefully that notice comes soon). I would like to apologize in advance if we have inconvenienced, frustrated, or made anyone’s day worse because of this.


We came to this decision because it has been a challenging time to hire more employees. Doing an analysis of our hiring levels today, it is certainly not fair to put our employees or management team in a position where they would be overworked and or over-stressed. The management team is doing everything in our power to add more employees but there isn’t a playbook for what we are going through.


This is the first time in my life that these hiring challenges have been faced. I am sure some people think this is drastic, and maybe it is, but we don’t want to be in a position where we can’t provide our best standard of food, service, attitude and value that O’Neill’s Grill has been providing. We have been short-staffed for a while but Andy and the management team have been working tirelessly to ensure guests wouldn’t feel a difference in our level of service. 


I would like to thank all our staff of great managers and employees for what they have done and endured since this pandemic started. I do not think many understand how challenging it has been to work through it as a restaurant employee. Thank you for your work.


We want to open again on Mondays as soon as possible, but we will not sacrifice our managers’ and employees’ health and wellbeing. We are very disappointed we have to do this and appreciate your understanding. I am available by email if anyone has any input or questions.
